  • Went for a ring workshop with my sister and we had lots of fun! We learned a lot about ring-making and metal smithing, would definitely recommend for those looking for a hands-on experience ✨ Bring your partners and best friends, this is your sign to make those matching rings you’ve always wanted to make 🥰

I had such a lovely time at Jessie’s workshop! I wanted to try something new during my trip to KL and found Jessie’s flowing vines workshop. It’s a great solo-activity. She guides you through every step of making your own ring and makes the whole process feel approachable. Learning the steps really made me appreciate the craftsmanship behind my jewelry. I’m naturally a shy person but Jessie is really easy to talk to. The whole experience feels like you’re just crafting with a friend. 10/10 would do this again next time I'm in KL. She also has a small shop inside her studio. I was hunting for handmade jewelry all week in KL and wasn’t having much luck, so I was pleasantly surprised to find many unique options right there in her studio. I now have a pair of handmade earrings to remind me of my trip and have already received compliments about them back home ❤️ Pro tip: Jessie does give directions to her studio, but if you’re hopeless like me, it helped to look up “Harper Comfort Food” on Google Maps and you’ll find the staircase leading up to her studio.

Jessie is such a wonderful and interactive instructor. The metal smith class is a absolute joy to take, even when I have 2 left feet when it comes to crafting: and being a southpaw! The Artisan Hub is such a wonderful creative space. Easy to get to with ample parking. So just let your creativity loose and hammer away! Love!

  • If you have never tried making your own jewellery, it's strongly suggested that you give it a try! There is nothing like crafting your own piece, and if you are (a) clueless at crafts, (b) clumsy as heck, and (c) possess no artistic talents whatsoever as some of us are; OR (d) really interested in crafting your own jewellery, (e) already making jewellery and would like to expand your skills further...then look no further than Jessie's Trinket Trove! It's an excellent space to learn more about making your own pieces. Instructions are very clear, and Jessie guides you on every step of the way, demonstrating first to show the ropes, then off you go. There are various stages, depending on the complexity of the design you have selected. After it is all completed and polished, the moment when you behold your own creation and wear it for the first time is unforgettable. This jewellery making class is highly recommended not just for art enthusiasts and creatives but also as a birthday gift, anniversary present, bridal shower party, or for family fun days. Whatever the occasion, you will definitely end the class satisfied with a beautiful piece of wearable art made with your own hands to show off to family and friends.

I walked into this ring-making workshop expecting a fun afternoon, but what I experienced was so much more than that. Three hours that felt like thirty minutes - in the best possible way. From the moment we started, Jessie's instruction was crystal clear and easy to follow. No confusing jargon, no rushed explanations. Just straightforward guidance that made me feel capable and confident, even as someone with zero metalworking experience. The pacing was perfect, giving us enough time to really focus on each step while keeping momentum going. But what truly stood out was the experience itself. There's something incredibly grounding about actually making something with your hands. Watching my ring take shape in real time, and the metal transform into something I created and could actually wear was incredibly cathartic. It was therapeutic in a way I didn't expect. This workshop offered something increasingly rare: the chance to truly shut off the world. My friend and I left feeling recharged, proud, and already talking about going back. If you're looking for a way to disconnect, create something meaningful, and spend time doing something genuinely fulfilling, I can't recommend this workshop highly enough. Jessie made it memorable, and the rings we made are a lasting reminder of a perfect afternoon.

Had a session with Jessie earlier today and happily recommend to all to give metalsmithing a try! The rare few teachers around who genuinely share the art and joy of of their craft. Excited to come back for other classes and also to work on my own projects.

It was my first time to make silver jewelry. Jessie thought me gently and motivate me throughout the session! I’ll visit again for making another type of silver jewelry.
